the end of june

it's almost actually summer! the hot july and august are about to come. ice cream, shopping, sunshine, cold drinks, ice cream... i love summer, but i love all the seasons for a reason. (you'll know them sooner or later.)

so, june... what was fun about june? school... saying goodbye to my classmates (that wasn't fun, it was just... memory-triggering.)... water fights... year-end trips... so much fun! and i loved the whole school year too, but i can't wait for the next one! i am so enthusiastic today! i was working with adorable little kids today, so maybe it's their hyperness transferred to me.

i love that picture of the field. i just want to lie down in it and watch the clouds. the one on the right looks like an airplane, doesn't it? i can't find any shapes for the rest, though. see if you can find one!

well, that was a short (kinda) post. have a great beginning-of-summer! (eat lotsa ice cream and drink lotsa Starbucks! because i like Starbucks.)

babies galore!

it's been a busy last week of school, so i haven't had much time to write. i'm so sorry! i missed blogging... plus my computer got a virus. get well soon! anyways, today i'm here to talk about babies. at church, my friend and i said hi to the CUTEST baby ever! her name was Abigail and when we smiled at her, her tiny little mouth stretched into an adorable smile! soooooooo cute! then when we stood up to leave, her eyes widened and her eyebrows went up, as if she was scared we'd go! she was so cute, i couldn't bear to leave her! i especially love babies in onesies. they're so cute, and the word "onesies" is so weird and cute at the same time! i love, love, love cute stuff. especially with cute names! LIKE ONESIES! ahhhhh! Abigail was adorable and cute and i bet she's going to grow up to laugh even more than me! (oh! and then my friend and me shared a Japa-dog. It's a hot dog with Japanese mayo, seaweed, and dried fish flakes! and TERIYAKI sauce!) did you know that while filming in Vancouver, the Twilight cast had lotsa Japa-dogs. TOO GOOD!

(how come i always talk about food? hope you didn't fall asleep. toodles! [such a cute word!])

M&Ms

hey there! today's fabulous topic: M&Ms! sweet milk chocolate with a crunchy rainbow candy shell. SOOOOO good! M&Ms are my absolute favorite candy, and i can go through a whole bag at the movies without stopping for breath! (just kidding.) i just had a handful of them (literally, i just poured them all into my mouth!) crunch! crunch! yum! yum! munch! munch! i will never, ever, ever stop loving M&Ms. they are the best candy ever made (like sour watermelon slices) and i can't get enough of them!

well, except for right now. i'm sick of them right now, but don't worry, tomorrow i'll be back to my usual status (an M&M-guzzling girl). if you ever plan to come between me and a giant bowl of M&Ms, don't. the last person who tried that--well, all that was left of him was his shoelace. (just kidding--again.)

so, what candy do you like? personally, i can't get enough of candy--except when i've had enough of it! (confusing, right? that's me!)
-have a candy-infused day! (even though it's also almost over!)

LAUGHING

hey there! so, our topic today is sooooooo awesome, it deserves all caps! LAUGHING! i don't know about you, but i love, love, love, love, love to laugh! did you know the average person laughs about 300 times a day? i assure you, i bet i laugh about a million times a day! there are times when i can't stop laughing at anything. once my friend said the word, "three", and i burst out laughing and couldn't stop. i also started laughing when i saw the picture of the laughing dog! so cute and hilarious! hahahahahaa! laughing is extremely healthy for you (i say it is) and it exercises your laugh muscles! (no, we don't actually have laugh muscles, but i wish we did!) my friend thinks that i laugh so much, one day my jaw is going to fall off. when he said that, i went into more laughing fits. i'm hopeless... but in a great way! :D

so do you like to laugh? i honestly can't imagine a life without laughing. you know the popular saying "live, love, laugh"? it just wouldn't be the same as "live and love". laughing is part of our everyday lives and is one of my most treasured abilities! (tee hee!--that was a giggle.)
-have a happy and laugh-filled day! (though it's mostly over!) ha-ha-ha!

fondue

hey! I'M SO SORRY i haven't written in a week. i was so busy with homework, lessons, that kind of stuff. so our topic today is fondue. it's where you melt cheese or chocolate into a bowl then dip all kinds of yummy stuff, such as fruit (in the chocolate) or bread (in the cheese). yum, yum! i also love chocolate fountains. they're kinda the same thing, except the word fondue seems so much... French-er, doesn't it? think about it... fondue compared to fountain. see the difference? maybe i'll name my future cat Fondue. did you know that Haagen Dazs (the Polish brand of yummy ice cream) has made an ice-cream fondue, complete with a chocolate fondue bowl-thing and ice-cream balls to dip in? sooooo cute and yummy-looking! in Hong Kong, you can find multiple buffet dinners in fancy hotels with chocolate fountains. i haven't seen a big bowl of fondue yet, though! the cutest thing to dip in the fountains are marshmallows! so sweet, squishy, soft, and puffy... too good. i love talking about food. why? i'd like everyone to be able to "taste" the description of the food!
i'm sorry, this post was kinda long. hope you didn't get bored!!! see you later!

monet

hey again. so our final topic of the day is Monet. Claude Monet. ooh, i got all James Bond-y back there. anyways, to the left is one of my favorite paintings by him. it's called The Artist's House at Argenteuil. a weird name, but the painting is so simple and detailed at the same time. it's a house and the pavement next to it, but you can imagine yourself in the place of that child in front of the house. the painting looks so calm and serene that i can't help admire how Monet managed to make something look so real but so simple at the same time. it makes you really think, doesn't it?
happy sunday!

popcorn

hiya! okay, today's awesome topic is popcorn. i especially love Kernel's popcorn. so many delicious flavors... cheddar, caramel, rainbow, dill pickle... the possibilites are endless! (just like in bakeries!) i prefer flavored popcorn to that buttered movie popcorn--it's tasty, but very un-original. really, movie theaters could do much better. anyways, popcorn. light and fluffy and crunchy and delectable! popcorn is SOOOOOOOOO good. whether you're enjoying it at the movies (with that unoriginal butter flavor) or just eating it for a yummy snack, popcorn is never unsuitable! (i sound like an advertisement!) call 1-800-POPCORN now for all the possibilities of popcorn!

the weekend

<---ahh, the weekend is finally here... don't you just love being able to do whatever you want? (as long as your parents are okay with it, that is.) i really like this picture of the lavender field. i think it might be in france or something. it looks so serene and peaceful... anyways, i hope you'll have a great weekend!

<---our next topic deserves a capital letter: Bakeries. don't you think they're just awesome? i certainly do! so many varieties of baked goods? muffins, cookies, bread, scones, cake... my mouth waters just thinking of all the goodies! one of my fave places is Cobs Bread. their food is healthy, natural, and delicious! you can even find seasonal treats there. too good! anyways, i love bakeries. especially cookies! and scones! and... oh, let's just say i love everything! call me a pig!
i hope you'll get a chance to visit a bakery during the weekend. have a good one!

greek cupcakes

<--- ok, so my class is doing a unit on ancient greece. my friend and i are making a trojan horse for our project. we made the horse from paper mache and glued it onto a foam base with foam wheels. it's pretty good so far! it's due tomorrow (fri. jun 4) so i'm nervous but confident we'll do ok!

<---on to our next topic: cupcakes. isn't that pic soooooo cute? i don't like choco/vanilla cupcakes that much, but i recently tried a red velvet cupcake, which is actually red-colored cupcake that tastes like chocolate mixed with vanilla. it had cream cheese frosting on top. YUUUUUUMMMM! what cupcake flavor do you like?

suntanning

my wonderful dog loves suntanning, so around 4 pm he was stretched out on the hardwood floor sleeping in the sun that came in from the balcony. well, it looked pretty fun, so i tried it. i almost fell asleep! the warm sun shining down on the back of your eyelids... well, anyways, make sure you remember to wear sunscreen to the beach!

that reminds me... time to go suntan again before the sun sets!

the jonas mermaids

the Jonas Brothers--ok, i know not many people like them, but you gotta admit, they've got at least one song that we like. "Paranoid", "SOS", "Lovebug"? those are just a few songs i've heard. i admire them for their passion, they really throw themselves into the music.

the jbs were kinda a random topic, so let's talk about something... less random. the movie The Little Mermaid! when i was about 4 or 6 or something, i was in love with the movie. i seriously wanted to jump into the ocean and see if my legs would turn into a tail. yeah. well, i always thought Ariel should be brunette or dark haired, because red clashes with her purple top and green tail. those Disney people should hire a fashion designer to help with the mermaid outfits. but then again, ariel is the main character. she should stand out. but still! her 6 sisters are all matchy-matchy and then ariel comes in red, purple, and green. merry christmas with grapes splattered all over it! yeah, i'm sorry for the strange title. BLOGGING IS SO MUCH FUN, i can't stop. you should try it sometime!

mouthwash

so i was emailing my friend Kaylene (she has her own blog too) and reminded her to brush her teeth and floss. (i know...) she asked me if i used mouthwash, and i spent a whole 3 sentences talking about mouthwash! i know, right???? so anyways, i thought i'd write something about mouthwash. i hate the brand Listerine. i don't know why, i only tried their mouthwash in the orange flavor and it tasted like burning garbage, if you can think about what that tastes like.

a few months ago, i had this berry flavored mouthwash that makes the food bits left in your mouth blue so you can see the gunk in your teeth when you spit it out. i used it all up not because i felt that my teeth felt better, but because the berry flavor tasted extremely good. seriously, if it was edible, i'd drink it!

ok, enough about mouthwash. i'm going to go eat some strawberry yogurt.

hiya!

hey there. my name's jane and i just created this blog for no reason at all. we all need things to do while we're bored... anyways, i like reading, singing, and listening to music. my favorite food is... actually, i have no idea. i like a lot of stuff! i can't tell you my favorite drink, book, song, or animal either. well, maybe you can get an idea from the entries in this blog. enjoy!!!
